Ride Information on this page...

The Basics:

Who: The WROAR Ride is open to all; motorcycles, scooters, trikes and riders of all genders
What: A motorcycle ride; participating motorcyclists raise pledges for the TRCC/MWAR
When: Sunday October 4th 2015
Where: Wherever you want! Pick your favorite autumn colours ride!
Why? all funds raised go to support the TRCC/MWAR - www.trccmwar.ca

How does it work?

Individual motorcyclists raise pledges to donate to the TRCC/MWAR. You can raise pledges online and/or on paper

Our goal for 2015 is to have 50 riders raising $100 each for a total of $5,000.00. While this is different than our past ride with a meeting place and a meal to offer you, we are minimizing our production costs so all funds raised can go directly to the centre, and we sincerely hope you'll enjoy a lovely ride of your own choosing on Oct. 4th 2015.

Individual WROAR Riders & Clubs can collect sponsors pledges online!

To set up your own personal (or Club) giving page go to:

You'll be asked to create an account with Canada Helps - it's free to set up. You will be asked to give your name, address and e-mail and to select a password.

Once your account is set up you can create a 'Giving Page' to collect sponsorship donations online from your family and friends for the WROAR Ride. It will take about five minutes to follow the steps to set up your giving page and then you can e-mail your friends and family a link to your personalized giving page to start taking ride sponsorship donations online!

You can choose to display your fundraising target, or not, and you can include a photo if you want to. When you're asked to add a charity to your personal giving page, don't look for the WROAR Ride, add the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre / Multicultural Women Against Rape as the charity.

Clubs can follow the same procedure to set up a 'personal' giving page for your club, and members can use it collectively, or individual club members can set up their own giving pages, whichever you prefer.

2015 WROAR 11, DIY Ride

This year you may select your own ride route, a route that lets you enjoy autumn colours is our suggestion. For those of you in the Toronto area, you might try exploring around Elephant Lake... but that's just a suggestion, you might want a shorter ride if it's cold, or the leaves might be more attractive elsewhere.
